Season Two of Top Shot, also dubbed as Top Shot: Reloaded, premiered on February 8, 2011 and concluded on April 26, 2011. The season contained 13 episodes, which aired on Tuesday nights. The winner of the season was American marksman Chris Reed, who was originally from the Red Team.

Top Shot: Reloaded was released on DVD in the U.S. on October 18, 2011.

ProductionEdit

History Channel began auditioning for Season Two in August 2010, right after the Season One Finale. As with Season One, potential contestants were required to fill an application form and send an audition video. After the audition process, 50 contestants were selected and auditioned personally. Finally, the sixteen contestants were selected.

The second season of Top Shot was filmed over a period of 35 days in the Fall of 2010. Shooting also took place in Santa Clarita, California. The season premiered on February 8, and concluded on April 26, 2011.

The entire season was released on DVD on October 18, 2011.

RulesEdit

In Season Two, the rules were similar to those of the preceding first season, retaining the original rules for Team Challenges and Practice Sessions. At the beginning, a Preliminary Challenge was held, which determined the two team captains, who were given an opportunity to choose their teams.

Also, beginning this season, the victorious of each Elimination Challenge would receive a $2000 gift card to use at Bass Pro Shops. During the individual portion of the competition, instead of the worst performers being sent home immediately, one person would become immune, by performing the best, while everyone else would be eligible to be nominated.
