Season Five of Top Shot, also dubbed as Top Shot All-Stars, premiered on May 29, 2013 and concluded on August 28, 2013. The season featured 16 contestants from all previous seasons, and contained 12 episodes which aired on Tuesday nights. The winner of the season was Phil Morden, who had originally competed in Season Three.

ProductionEdit

Initially, History Channel didn't make any official statements about a fifth season. However, host Colby Donaldson hinted at it from his Twitter page since May 2012. On his tweet, Colby also referenced the fact that the season would be "All Stars".[1] On October 16, Donaldson again posted that they "just finished filming Season 5".[2]

Like previous seasons, the fifth season of Top Shot was filmed in Santa Clarita, California. The season will premier on May 29, 2013.

RulesEdit

Unlike previous seasons, in Season Five contestants are not assigned to teams, but compete as individuals. Also, the process of eliminating players is based on their performance on the first challenge, with the worst performers going to a Proving Ground challenge to determine who will compete in the Elimination Challenge.

This season, the winner will also receive a Tahoe Q5i speedboat, in addition to the $100,000 prize.

ContestantsEdit

Season Five featured sixteen contestants, all of them previous contestants from the past four seasons.
