Chris Reed was a contestant of Top Shot Season Two. He was originally a member of the Red Team, but became part of the Green Team during the last half of the competition.

Chris became the second Top Shot, after defeating Brian Zins in the Final Challenge of the Season Two Finale.

Personal life

Chris Reed was a realtor from Franklin, Tennessee. He was born and raised in Mississippi. Chris was also a member of the United States Marine Corps. In 2009, he finished second at the Field & Stream's Total Outdoorsman Challenge. That same year, he was the national champion in both 12-gauge Sporting Clays and 22 Long Rifle. In 2010, he was the finalist in National Rifle, Shotgun and Archery. He has also won several state and national championships in both archery and long rifle.

According to Behind the Bullet, Chris wants to teach more people about hunting and marksmanship. He plans on investing his winnings for his kids' education.

Return to Top Shot

During Season Three, Chris served as honorary team captain of the Red Team during the Team Challenge on Week Six, while Iain Harrison served as captain of the Blue Team. Each team captain chose a charity that would receive a $5,000 donation, if his team ended up winning. Chris chose Make-A-Wish Foundation. His team ended up winning the challenge.

Chris returned to Top Shot as an expert during Season Four episode "Shotgun Showdown". Chris trained both the Red and Blue Team in the use of two shotguns: the Benelli M4 and the Benelli Vinci.
